Data & account deletion

Docket has no account to delete and no data on our servers. Everything lives on your device, so deleting it is entirely in your hands — and immediate.

Last updated 18 September 2026

There is no account

Docket never asks you to sign up or sign in. It has no user accounts and no backend, so there is no account for us to hold or delete, and no server-side copy of your data anywhere. Everything you create is stored only in the app on your device.

Delete individual records (in the app)

  1. Delete a draft from its screen, or void an issued document to remove it from your totals.
  2. Remove customers, price-book items and expenses directly where they are listed.

Delete everything (fastest)

Because all data is local, removing it is a device action:

  • Android: Settings → Apps → Docket → Storage → Clear storage wipes all app data instantly, or Uninstall removes the app and its data together.
  • iOS: press and hold the Docket icon → Remove App → Delete App removes the app and all its data.

Once you clear storage or uninstall, the data is gone from the device and cannot be recovered by us — we never had a copy.

Backups and exports you made

Any .docket backup, CSV or PDF you exported is your file, saved wherever you chose to put it (a cloud drive, email, Files). Those are outside the app, so delete them from that location too if you want no trace to remain.

Purchases

Deleting the app does not cancel a Docket Pro subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store — subscriptions belong to your store account, not to Docket. Cancel it in the store's subscription settings (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions, or App Store → Subscriptions). A one-time lifetime purchase needs no cancelling.
